What a great time at the Wichita WagonMasters Downtown Chili Cook Off on Saturday, September 30, 2023!
I volunteered to help Passageways LTD, fill the chili cups for the Chili Cook Off. I got to taste one of the cups and man was it just right for me, with just a little kick not too hot. Said the Ma’am bear. LOL
We had many returns also, plus they provided lots of gifts for the kids.
I did good in the size of the crowd I felt comfortable enough to take a short stroll afterward. There were so many people but I didn’t venture far from my saftey zone. I was very glad to see other military organizations participating there. All the proceeds were divided to the participating non-profits in the cook-off. Even the 50/50 raffle.
I am looking forward to next year!
