Well it is snowing this afternoon. I am so glad I can enjoy my indoor gardens. As I was tending to my pepper stand holding my 3 pepper plants I noticed one of them flowered.!
Indoor gardening is a great way to enjoy fresh produce year-round, even in the winter. One popular method for indoor gardening is the Kratky method, which is a simple and low-maintenance way to grow plants without the use of electricity or pumps. This method is perfect for growing pepper plants indoors during the winter months.
The Kratky method is a hydroponic method that uses a container filled with water and nutrients to grow plants. The container is placed in a sunny location and the plants are placed in the water. As the plants grow, they will absorb the water and nutrients they need to thrive. The key to success with this method is to make sure that the water level is always above the roots of the plants.
When it comes to growing pepper plants using the Kratky method, it’s important to choose a container that is large enough to accommodate the plants as they grow. A covered container, such as a mason jar or plastic container, making sure that no light gets into the container to prevent algae.

I always grow from seed. I will explain in detail in another article.
